Bires To Start 24th In Bristol After Friday Is Rained Out



Kelly Bires will start tomorrow’s Sharpie Mini 300 from 24th position after both NASCAR Nationwide Series practice sessions were rained out at Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee today.

Tomorrow morning’s qualifying session has now been replaced with a 90-minute practice session, with the starting order set by 2007 Owner’s Points.

Bires will start from the 12th row in the #47 Clorox Ford Fusion in what is the third race this season where qualifying has been rained out.

Scott Wimmer will start from pole in the Sharpie Mini 300 ahead of Denny Hamlin and Carl Edwards.
