Kelly Bires Will Start 26th After Qualifying Session Cancelled

Qualifying for today’s Nicorette 300 at Atlanta Motor Speedway was cancelled due to inclement weather, meaning all NASCAR Nationwide teams will line up for the start by virtue of their owner points from 2007.

This puts Kelly Bires and the No. 47 Clorox Ford 26th on the grid for the 2:00 p.m. EST start. The Nicorette 300 can be seen live on the ESPN 2 Network.

Teammate Marcos Ambrose will start 20th in the No. 59 Kingsford Hickory Ford.

-Kelly Bires will start the No. 47 Clorox Ford from the 26th spot on the grid.
-Kelly Bires practiced 21st fast in Friday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series practice session at the Atlanta Motor Speedway..
